This is Honda Acura RSX Type S which were sold for US market. If you look it at glance,you might think this is another Honda Integra Type - R. Based on wikipedia, in 2005 the RSX Type-S received camshafts, b-pipe and muffler from the exhaust, 4.77 final drive ratio, crankshaft pulley and the intake snorkel duct from the Japanese model Honda Integra Type-R. Rev-limit was also increased from 8100 rpms to 8300 rpms.

But of course, in Malaysia, the Integra Dc5 still the best compared to this RSX, hardly heard someone imported this model from US eventhough they have the AP. Unlike RSX, the Type R has reduced weight, a 220 PS / 164 kW / 217 hp (162 kW) K20A engine (LSD) and stiffer springs and shocks, 4 piston Brembo brakes, 17″ wheels on Bridgestone Potenza tires, Recaro suede seats, body trim, and more. The IIHS did not rate the RSX.

The RSX that we have here has done some minor mod in its overall outlook and also interior. Look nice with evo regamaster wheel….

What do you think of this spy shots ? Is it a real Honda NSX prototype as reported by one of the member in CarTribe. According to the spy photographer, the new Honda NSX managed to clocked 7 minutes and 37 seconds at Nurburgring and if this could be another great rival for the recent released Nissan GT-R who has best lap at 7 minutes and 29 records.

Not much info so far on this machine but many believe that it will be powered by i-VTEC V10 which capable in delivering powerful 550hp at 9,000rpm. With all this figure, one might wonder what is the giant Toyota plans on their next super car !

I considered Honda Airwave as another true JDM model from Honda, exclusively produced for Japan Market. This Mugen version features the following :

• a new exhaust system
• sports suspension
• high performance oil filter
• Honda Mugen Airwave bodykit (i.e front sports grille and under spoiler, new side skirts, a rear under spoiler and a rear wing)

The Honda Mugen Airwave also offers the possibility to choose between several 15″ alloy wheel designs and a number of interior upgrades.

In Malaysia, if you realise many car dealers started to import this model,the price I am not too sure but could be more than RM130k.

Honda has launched their new 8th generation Honda accord in Malaysia. This model available 3 variants at launch 2.0 liter and 2.4 liter variants (both locally assembled) , and a Thai-imported 3.5 liter V6 model.

CAR SPECS

Honda Accord 2.0 VTi : 2.0 liter R-series SOHC i-VTEC, 156 PS at 6,300rpm and torque of 189Nm at 4,300rpm.

Honda Accord 2.4 VTi-L : K24 2.0 liter DOHC i-VTEC engine, 180 PS at 6,500rpm, torque 222Nm at 4,300rpm. This 5-speed automatic, and comes with manual sequential shifting via paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel.

Honda Accord 3.5 : SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine, 275 PS at 6,200rpm and torque 339Nm at 5,000rpm.

The new 8th generation honda accord is available in five colors: Polished Metal Metallic; Bold Beige Metallic; Nighthawk Black Pearl; Sparkle Gray Pearl; and Alabaster Silver Metallic.
